Kuching, 20th June 2024 Thursday - Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak and Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) IR4.0 Prototyping Lab - Retrofitting & Automation Centre recently went on an exciting road trip to Miri, Sibu, and Bintulu to conduct briefing sessions and hands-on testing of NREB latest innovation, the WASAP-1 Portable Water Sampling Machine.

This project showcases SDEC’s commitment to advancing technology and providing modern solutions in support of local agencies such as NREB. Present in the briefing sessions were representatives from Akar Indah Engineering Sdn Bhd, the Retrofitting & Automation Centre’s anchor company, while NREB team was led by Mitchell Bay Samuel from the Planning & Development Section.
