14 December 2022, Kuching - The Premier of Sarawak Environmental Award (PSEA), is a biennial event first introduced in 2001, formally known as Chief Minister Environmental Award (CMEA). In collaboration with other ministries and agencies, the Award was jointly organized by NREB and the Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) until its 7th Edition in 2016.From 2017 onwards, the NREB has partnered with the Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) in organizing the 8th and 9th edition of CMEA as well as this 10th PSEA 2021/2022.

This 10th PSEA award presentation ceremony held at Waterfront Hotel Kuching on 14 December 2022. The Guest-of-Honours for the award presentation is YAB Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak, and Minister of Urban Development and Natural Resources, Sarawak.

A total of 144 entries were received for the 10th PSEA2021/2022, the highest participation to date as compared to 106 in the 9th CMEA 2019/2020, and 99 entries in the 8th CMEA 2017/2018.
