YAB Chief Minister Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Haji Adenan Bin Haji Satem has passed away on 11 January 2017 at 1:24 p.m.
The public can pay their last respects at the Masjid Jamek Negeri, Petra Jaya starting from 10.45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. tomorrow (12 January 2017). Allahyarham will be laid to rest at the Samariang Muslim Cemetery after the Zohor prayers (12:50 p.m.).
The State Government has declared 12 January 2017 as a special public holiday for Sarawak.
The State Government also declared a seven-day mourning period from 11 January to 17 January 2017 and all State flags will be hoisted at half mast during this period.
